Super Bowl Sunday

We got to wear our favorite team gear to church today in honor of the Super Bowl. Lundyn and I of course represented for the Cowboys. But who is Daddy's team? We thought we'd be able to keep it under wraps until he realized that you couldn't see his shirt in this picture. Oh well, we tried anyway.

So we let Daddy show off his team here. He is a loyal fan to the St. Louis Rams. Lundyn says, "Who?"

GO TEAMS! (Cowboys #1)

Lundyn's New Thing

Lundyn has gone through many phases of favorite things she likes to play with. We have phased through many toys, books and games that she focuses on for a while that just becomes "her thing." We have also focused on things like dumping Lucy's water bowl, emptying out the kitchen cabinets, pushing her highchair around the house and opening doors. Well, we now have a new thing. Lundyn will pick up anything and cover her eyes while she walks around. Yes, this makes me nervous because she does run into things, but that makes it even more funny to her.

Lundyn getting started.
Here we go, folks. Hold on because it can be a bumpy ride!

Tonight was the first time I've seen her play in her tunnel with her head covered. She thought this was hysterical.

Then she did this. We haven't even mastered how to play on the trampoline that she got for Christmas yet. She was so goofy to get on with her head covered. What a little dare devil!

Lundyn isn't limited on what she'll use to cover her head either. It's just about whatever is close at hand. She will use any article of clothing especially. This is her princess tutu which I like the best because it is easy to see through. Whew!

I love reading books to Lundyn, but lately our book time together has been cut short because we just have to get those eyes covered and walk around. This girl is a HOOT!

Springtime in January

The weather was so beautiful today that we just had to get out and enjoy it. It was in the 70's in January! Winter in Texas can be so unpredictable, but we loved every second of it. After a couple of rounds of illness this family could use a little fresh air too.

Lundyn with the sun on her face, the wind in her hair and what is she wearing? That's right, Daddy! We still love and stand by our Cowboys even though they bombed this year. (I have to add at Daddy's request that the only support the Dallas Cowboys get in our home comes from Lundyn and I. Let's make clear that Daddy is NOT and NEVER will be a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.) GO COWBOYS!!!

Lundyn gave her Cricket trike a spin on the patio. Back and forth and back and forth.

3 Cheers for the beautiful day! Hooray! Woo Hoo! Yippee!
