Happy Valentines Day

Mark and I had a lovely Valentines Day dinner with our Sunday school class last night. It was nice to have that time of fellowship with them and with each other. The food was great and I even have left overs for lunch. Yippee!

When we got home, Daddy surprised Lundyn and I with our favorite ice cream cake. It is delicious and we will be enjoying that again today too!

I am with the loves of my life today, my life-long Valentine and my precious lil sweetheart. I feel so blessed!

Lundyn's 1st Haircut

Lundyn had her first professional haircut today. Although Mema has done a great job keeping our bangs trimmed so far, we thought it was time to get the professional treatment.

Lundyn did AWESOME! She was a little wiggly, but all smiles the whole time. This is our new friend Kimberly. We think she specializes in wiggle worms!

While Kimberly snipped away, I held Lundyn and tried my best to keep those wiggle arms from getting in her way. Mema took pictures and with Janet's help kept Lundyn entertained with new toys.

Snip. Snip. Snip.
We're almost finished now.

The final outcome. WOW, baby girl! Look at those gorgeous curls you have!

We asked Lundyn what she thought about her new do. She loved it...can't you tell!?!

Baby With A Bow

Okay, I know she's not much a baby anymore, but she'll always be my baby. While she was distracted today, I got the biggest bow that I could find and put it in her hair. I haven't been able to do this in a while because she will pull them out, but today I got her. She left it in most of the afternoon and even on some errands too.
TEE HEE HEE!
Now that I know how to get the bow in her hair (without her knowing, of course) I'm looking forward to even more big bow head days soon!
