An Evening at the Park

We have been so blessed to have the most wonderful weather in the evenings lately. We have done everything we can do outside. We eat and play outside and if Lundyn had her way we would probably sleep there too. Although, I don't think there would be much sleeping going on.

We all went to the park in our neighborhood tonight. Lundyn had a blast on the swings. I really don't think she would ever get tired of swinging. It's that much fun!

Lundyn's Tractor Ride

Somehow Lundyn convinced Mema and Poppy to let her ride the tractor at their house. I'm sure all she had to do was smile.

We need to work on getting her to watch where she's going. Don't cha think?!
It didn't take long before she was able to make more difficult manuevers like going around this tree.
Oh my, I think we've created a tractor monster!

Lundyn Goes Visiting

Daddy took Lundyn to visit our family in Big D. They had a super time together. She was able to spend some quality with her cousins. Drew and Jaida were so sweet to play with Lundyn and share their toys. Lundyn loves all her cousins so much.

This is Lundyn showing off her new moves to Jaida and Nana. Lundyn is walking so well now. We are so thankful that she is taking more and more steps on her own. It certainly has been an answer to our prayers.
Lundyn shares some laughs and probably some slobbery kissses with her Aunt Chris.
Papa got some love from Lundyn today too.

Labor Day Weekend Activities

Our Labor Day weekend was fun and full of activity. It was so nice to have a few days off to relax.

Lundyn's Pushing Frenzy

We've worked really hard with Lundyn in physical therapy to push things on her feet. We needed a way to encourage her to spend more time on her feet. Well, not any more. This kid is pushing everything that isn't nailed down. Notice her highchair below is on the carpet. She has pushed it out of the kitchen, around the living room and is heading towards the front door. Most days recently, I have to look around for the highchair when it's time to put her in it to eat.

You'll have to look closely to notice that she is actually pushing 2 toys at once. One hand is on the Pooh car in the front and the other hand is on another toy in the back. She isn't on her feet here, but in this case I'm thankful she had good judgement to stay lower to the ground.

Okay, so she tricked me. I thought I would catch her pushing her laptop across the floor as I've seen her do so many times before. She actually sat and played with it awhile BEFORE she pushed it!

Visit From Cali

We were so excited that Lundyn's Great Grandma came all the way from California to visit us. We don't get to spend a whole lot of time with her, so every moment is precious to us. I know Daddy would like to take Lundyn to California soon to see all of his family there. We miss them all so much.

Get Well Soon Baby Girl

Since we found out about Lundyn's diagnosis of Angelman Syndrome, we always knew that seizures were likely. We were hoping and praying that we would be in the small percentage that wouldn't have to face them. Unfortunately, Lundyn seizures came on with a vengeance this month. She was admitted to the hospital and given new medication to stop the seizures and control them. We are praying now that they will be easily controlled with this medicine. She was such a brave girl in the hospital. They monitored her with a video EEG for 48 hours. The nurses and staff were wonderful. Although Lundyn was really groggy for the first 24 hours or so, she started to play after the medicine they gave her in the ER wore off. We played with toys on the play mat in her room and blew lots of bubbles. We would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this time. Please continue to pray for Lundyn anytime you happen to think of us.
