Ouchie

Oooh! Our girl is so tough! We are so thankful to see Lundyn back on her feet since her hospitalization in May. It is certainly a blessing and answer to prayer. Since we are still battling seizures, it is also a battle to get this girl to slow down and keep her safe. She wants to play and she wants to always be on the move. There is just so much for this girl to do. Although, she is still improving on her coordination and balance, Lundyn is walking more often, but a recent fall broke a small bone at the base of her big toe. In Lundyn style, she hasn't let it slow her down. She is already back to full speed and is of course, all smiles.

Lundyn's 3rd Birthday Pool Party

We had a BLAST at Lundyn's birthday party. It was a Splash Bash in the pool at our sweet Nana and Papa's house. Nana and Papa were the hosts with the mosts. There wasn't a detail left undone. The party was just what this family needed and it included the birthday girl's all-time favorite activity, splashing in the pool!

Not only were we surrounded by our family, but also we're so glad that our friends could be with us on this special day too.

Always so happy to see them!

Time for presents.

Our Birthday Princess!

LUNDYN IS 3!

Our sweet Lundyn girl is 3! Oh, how the time flies by! We can't wait to celebrate with our family this weekend, but we just had to get the party started on her birthday.

This butterfly balloon will bring many many hours of smiles and enjoyment!

We had to get the birthday girl in the pool!

Cupcakes are messy yummy goodness!

We save a few sparklers (from our 4th stash) every year to light on Lundyn's birthday.

Dearest Lundyn,

I'm amazed as I watch you grow. Time is passing much too quickly, and every day you show me something new. No matter what the day may bring, I know that I will see your smile. Your smile lights my world and your laughter is contagious. I love it when you get so tickled that you can't catch your breath. That is usually because your daddy has done something so silly to amuse you. Sometimes, just to get my attention you will get right in front of my face with the most wonderful smile and laugh and laugh and laugh.

It really seems like just yesterday I could cradle you in my arms. I still try even though you wiggle out. You are so tall like your daddy. Your innocent strength, courage and determination astound me.

It's hard to believe that you will start preschool in the fall. I know you will blossom there and learn so much.

I cherish every moment with you, sweet girl. I am honored to be your mommy. You are still my Chick a Poo, but you have been given a lot of nick names now. My favorites: Chicky, Choogie, Baby G, Lundy Lu, Boo Boo, Boo Bear, Pumpkin Doodles, Monster, Wonky, La La, Sweet Pea, McGrowly, Widdle Widdles and Biggle Biggles.
I love you so much. You are our special blessing from above.
Love,
Mommy

The 4th!

It's no secret that we love the 4th of July around here. We actually celebrated on the 5th, but it was worth the wait. And how do we celebrate, you ask?

Well, we put on our red, white and blue and head over to Mema and Poppy's house to play.

Oh, that sweet face!

When the sun goes down, Daddy and Mommy put on their fireworks show. Lundyn was laughing so hard. (At us I think.) My technique is to light and run. Anyhoo, its a hoot to watch!

Summer Lovin'

We have been having some serious pool time whenever we get a chance. Its just as thrilling as last summer and is just what you need even when you're not feeling your best.

Floating along with every pool float within reach, of course. We can't let one get away.

Kick it, baby girl!

Priceless!
